El San Juan Resort & Casino first opened in Isla Verde in February 1958, and has been host to many executives and socialites, artists and athletes, and musicians and celebrities over the years. Since its opening, it has been known as Puerto Rico’s most authentic lifestyle and entertainment property.In August 2016, the hotel closed for extensive renovations and reopened in Winter 2017 to reveal its new look which restored its quintessential Puerto Rican personality befitting of the 21st century.
